Sightseeing Bus of Zhangye Danxia Geopark
There are sightseeing buses in Zhangye Danxia Geopark, so you are not allowed to travel by car. The ticket for sightseeing bus is 20 Yuan. It runs from 06:00 in the morning and 20:40 in the evening.
The total distance of the four platforms is about 8 kilometers. If you take a shuttle bus to visit Linze Danxia for the whole journey, you will spend at least more than an hour; the sightseeing bus is circular and sends the visitors to the platforms orderly. The visitor’s stay time at the platform is determined by himself.
If you have plenty of time, you can take the shuttle bus as an option or visit the scenic spot on foot. You need to take note that the last time of the shuttle bus to go back from the fourth platform is eight forth in the evening. It will be changed according to the season or weather, so please consult this ahead of time in order to avoid missing the return time.
Normally most visitors go into Zhangye Danxia from the west gate. They will just take a sightseeing bus to visit from the first viewing platform, then to the second, third and fourth platforms sequentially and get off at each spot. After the sightseeing they will get on the bus in line to the next viewing platform.
It is worth reminding that you should know the correct routines especially about the fourth platform before getting on the bus. When you finished visiting the four platforms, you should note that if you would like to go to the fifth platform in Sunan or back to the west entrance in Linze. If you will visit Sunan, please take the bus with the sign of east entrance.
